As a Coach for the last 20 years, and being around CF for the last 12, it's been my job to trend all of this stuff and gear programming towards where the future lies. It is very easy to say without a doubt that from a business standpoint, CF HQ will NOT throw in anything that is difficult to video tape during the open (i.e. running, rowing, etc) because they really can't tell how far you've run etc. Also, you can expect that WOD 1 will be simple because from a purely BUSINESS standpoint.. making it simple will make it go from 70000 enrollments to 100,000 enrollments (a difference of $600,000 overall at $20 per head) so tjhings will start off simple in week 1 and get progressively worse from there with WOD 4 and Wod 5 being the separators.

I loved reading this. It also supports the theories I have been utilizing with training my athletes all over the world and the programming I have been writing for them. It's pretty awesome!

Thank you again for writing all of this out!

Kevin Hughes, CrossFit FTFKevin Hugheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07236286410576743795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6734272724196423841.post-27351954630530863702012-12-18T08:40:08.515-05:002012-12-18T08:40:08.515-05:00Ah, good note.
